| Genie Lamp: Here you can hire Genies. If you hire all the Genies available, the lamp disappears (hence, it's a temporary location). You may not want to leave any for your enemies to pick up. And the Genies don't regenerate either! |
| Treasure Chest: You can pick up some gold or experience. The amount of gold is 500 more than the experience available. Therefore, you could choose between 1000 gold or 500 experience, 1500 gold or 1000 experience, or 2000 gold or 1500 experience. |
When visited, these locations do not disappear; they remain on the map for the rest of the game.
These locations can be visited only once each. Specific information about each will be provided.

| Skeleton: Most of the time, there's nothing in them bones. But once in a blue moon (10% of the time), there will be an artifact waiting for you! So take the time to pay your respects to the dead. There's nothing to lose, unless you're in a terrible hurry. And once the artifact's gone, it's gone. |
