Shadow of Death Map Locations

Shadow of Death Map Locations

Shadow of Death adds some new/ enhanced structures to extend game play.

Quest Guard
Quest Guard
Description: A quest guard is rather the same as a regular border guard, except that you must do something for the occupants before they let you pass. You do not need to visit a colored tent; rather, you have to be a certain hero, give resources, give troops, be at a certain level, have a certain artifact, etc. It's rather like a Seer's Hut in that you have to do something specific.
Seer's Huts
Seer's Huts
Description: The Seer's Huts are just the same in Shadow of Death as in Restoration of Erathia, except that there are several more different quests you can undertake.
Border Gates
Border Gates
Description: Border Gates are quite like Border Guards in that you must visit the appropriate colored tent before you may pass. Border Gates are different in that they do not disappear- they stay on the map. This requires that everybody visit the colored tents before they can get through.
One-Way Monoliths
One-Way Monoliths
Description: Restoration of Erathia has one-way monoliths: you go into the entry monolith, and come out at the exit. You cannot go back using that same monolith. Shadow of Death brings more of the same. The upper set is that of entry monoliths, and the lower set is that of the matching exit monoliths. Note that the entry monoliths are animated, whereas the exit ones are not.
Two-Way Monoliths
Two-Way Monoliths
Description: Just as with one-way monoliths, there are two-way monoliths in Restoration of Erathia. When you use two-way monoliths, you can go back and forth using those monoliths. The idea is the same for the monoliths from Shadow of Death.
