Welcome
Welcome to the newest addition to HoMMWorld - my HoMM4 website!
HoMM4, released in 2002, is the latest game in the highly popular Heroes of Might and Magic series, which was created by 3DO. 3DO has gone bankrupt, and the HoMM franchise has been sold to Ubisoft. For the time being, it looks as if HoMM4 may be the last game in the series, since there is no sign (yet) that Ubisoft is planning to keep the series going. In the meantime, I've worked to keep HoMMWorld as complete as possible, which meant updating all the existing pages, as well as building this site.
If you wish to see the sites that I have created for the first 3 games, go to my homepage. You can get there by clicking the HommWorld link at the bottom of the page. The link is at the bottom of every page on this site.
I've worked hard on this website, and on the other sites. If you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, please go to my homepage and click on the "Contact" link.

Story
The story begins in the midst of a battle between Rampart and Stronghold armies (from HoMM3). On opposite sides of the battlefield are Gelu, an Archer, and Kilgor, a Barbarian. They were featured in campaigns in the Armageddon's Blade expansion pack for HoMM3.
Gelu appears wielding Armageddon's Blade (as from the campaign in HoMM3; when the campaign ended, Gelu disappeared with the sword), and Kilgor the Sword of Frost (from one of the Heroes Chronicles games). When Gelu and Kilgor meet in combat, their swords clash. Being of opposite elements, the swords react and cause a huge explosion (have a look at the Screenshots page for some pictures). This explosion is so huge, it destroys the world as we knew it from the first 3 games. Just ahead of the destruction, survivors escape through magic portals into another world, now known as Axeoth. There, they begin to build new lives...and of course, start fighting for domination.
